DMG congratulates former Ausra (DMG client) now AREVA on the signing of the Kogan Creek deal to install a 44 megawatt solar thermal augmentation project at the 750 megawatt coal-fired power station in Queensland, Australia, representing the largest solar project in the Southern Hemisphere and the world’s largest solar/coal-fired power augmentation project.
DMG was engaged by the Australian start-up company Ausra in 2007 following VC backing from some of California’s biggest clean tech investors, to help raise the company profile and position the company in Australia and internationally. DMG was involved in the Solar Flagships announcement at the Ausra Liddell Solar Power station, and the first Kogan Creek announcement.
