Australia no. 4 in Newsweek's 'World's Best Countries'

Newsweek has ranked the ‘world’s best countries’, and Australia comes in at fourth, after Finland, Switzerland and Sweden.

The survey is based on five key  measures. Australia scored highest for health, followed by quality of life, economic dynamism, political environment and education (for which we ranked 13th in the world).

The results are available online.

By contrast,  the Newsweek survey ranked Canada at 7th, and the United States at 11th. And that mightily upset Stephen Colbert!
